Why did the Airport Security wipe my hands with a cloth and then put the cloth in a machine to scan..........

When l was coming home on a plane tonight, l was going through airport

security and after l went through the metal detectors a security guard

It was a random check. The TSA will randomly select people and

They do that to check your hands for explosives residue, in

I am not a TSA agent but if I were, I would look for somebody that would  
do as they were told without asking a bunch of questions and didn't have  
gross dirty hands covered with scabs, warts, or healing wounds.
